WHAT IS A Summer Intensive?
For 2 weeks, WITH NO MORE THAN 15 ARTISTS ALLOWED PER SESSION,
WE TAKE THE BEST BROADWAY MUSICAL SOLOS, DUETS AND GROUP NUMBERS TO CREATE A SHOW!
OUR MAIN FOCUS IS YOU — TO HELP EVERY ARTIST LEARN, GROW AND EXCEL IN THEIR PERFORMANCE.
Ages 8 -18 welcome!
CREATING THE SHOW
Once enrollment is full, we will pick show material based on our cast and the session’s theme (see breakdowns below). Material will be picked that highlights each young artist’s strengths while allowing them to be challenged and grow. Every artist will be featured having an opportunity to work skills as a lead performer.
Every artist must send a video recording to invictatheatre@gmail.com. Students prepare a short selection of a song they feel confident singing. We also encourage sending a video of your dance ability, whether that is a video from a previous show, skills, etc.
Once we finish creating our show, we will provide the necessary content to individually prepare and practice. Materials and Schedule Breakdown will be provided before the occurring session begins. Every Session will have its own Facebook group complete with dance videos, voice tracks, and song instrumentals.
Session 1: “Broadway COMEDIES”
June 2 - 12 th 9am - 12 pm

Invicta Artists will perform a show centered around Broadway’s Funniest. This can include material from shows such as Beetlejuice, Something Rotten, Anything Goes, Wicked, Kinky Boots, Guys and Dolls… and more!
Performances June 13 th @ 11 am,
June 14th @ 7 pm
Session 2: “Disney on Broadway”
June 16 - 26 th 9am - 12 pm

Invicta Artists will perform a show centered around Disney Broadway Musicals. This can include material from shows such as Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Newsies, Mary Poppins, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid… and more!

Session 3: “Broadway Comedies”
JuNE 3OTH - JULY 10TH (July 4th off) 9am - 12 pm

Invicta Artists will perform a show centered around Broadway’s most Epic moments. This can include material from shows such as Wicked, Anastasia, Phantom of the Opera, Hadestown, Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar… and more!

Invicta Artists will perform our FIRST SUMMER NAMED SHOW!!! We have costumes, we have the set pieces, props, and now we just need THE CAST! We will only have enough students to fill the roles. We are not looking for 30 to 40 kids. We are only looking for 15 students to Perform this Show.
